Featured in Chip Chats Magazine — Winter 2026 Edition

I’m honored to share that my work was recently featured in the Winter 2026 issue of Chip Chats Magazine! The article, titled “Show #43 for Metro Michigan,” highlights the 2025 Metro Carvers of Michigan Woodcarving Show—an outstanding event that welcomed more than 600 attendees and showcased creativity across 30 judged carving categories.

I was proud to participate once again as both an exhibitor and competitor, entering three categories: Human Caricature, Holiday Carvings, and Mythical Creatures. My carvings were awarded First Place in Holiday Carvings and First Place in Mythical Creatures, along with Second Place in Human Caricatures.

An especially meaningful honor was my carving “Walking Wizard,” which earned Third Place Best of Show, selected from all first-place winners across every category. The Chip Chats feature highlights this piece and the privilege of being recognized among so many talented woodcarvers.

It was truly a humbling and unforgettable experience, and I’m grateful to be part of such a vibrant carving community.
